John Fitzgerald Kennedy won the respect and friendship of many of the
nation’s and world’s religious leaders. Above, at the White House, he is
shown as he received Dr. Arthur Michael Ramsey, the Archbishop of Canterbury,
in November, 1962. Below, he addresses leaders of the United Presbyterian
Church in the U.S.A. who advised him of the denomination’s plans to build a
multi-million dollar National Presbyterian church in the nation’s capital
