Prelates and priests from South Vietnam are shown as they arrived in Rome for
the second session of the Second Vatican Council. Seven Vietnamese bishops
were among the early arrivals. In a statement they said that one of the aims
of the Council was to define the situation of the Church in the world. South
Vietnam has been involved in a controversy in which Buddhists have charged
