David Munroe Cory, pastor of Cuyler Presbyterian church, points to the first of the Ten Commandments as it is translated into Iroquois. Dr. Cory learned the difficult language after a large group of Mohawk Indians settled in Brooklyn and became his parishioners. Many Iroquois words contain 18 letters, some have 30.
