PHILADELPHIA -- Officials of Citizens for Educational Freedom are shown as
they greeted Dr. Will Herberg of Drew University, famed philosopher and
author, at the CEF annual convention in Philadelphia. With him are Stuart
Hubbell, left, a Catholic and prosecuting attorney of Travers City, Mich.,
who was elected president of the CEF, and Dr. Edwin H. Palmer of Westminster
Theological Seminary, an independent Protestant school in Philadelphia. Dr.
Palmer, a trustee of the group, won the annual CEF award for his contribution
to the recognition of constitutional and civil rights of parents and children
