Description:
The area of Sudan is about half the size of Europe and for the last fifteen years the Arabs of the north have been fighting a prolonged and unpublicised civil war against the Anyanyas a terrorist group whose size and numbers cannot be guessed at. The terrorists who inhabit the wilder parts of the Southern Sudan around Juba say they are fighting against a regime that is determined to wipe out and which gives all its money to the already affluent North. Their fifteen year fight has undermined the already shakey Sudanese economy because wars are expensive things to wage. Here a patrol in the South returns to their Russian-built helicopter.
