WASHINGTON, D.C. -- President and Mrs. Johnson leave National City Christian
church, accompanied by its pastor, Dr. George R. Davis, after an
interreligious Inauguration Day service. Behind them are Lynda B. and Luci
B., the President’s daughters; Evangelist Billy Graham, who preached the
sermon; and Vice President and Mrs. Humphrey. The service in the Disciples of
Christ national church, which the President attends, was led by Dr. Davis.
Prayers also were offered by Episcopal, Catholic and Jewish clergy. Credit
