The Concept-East is an off-Broadway type of theater which, located in an oldtime barroom, now offers culture instead of beer. One of the first works presented was by the Rev. Malcolm Boyd, left, Protestant Episcopal clergyman long active in youth and race relations work. With him are Woodie King, center, and Cliff Frazier, actors in the minister’s play, “The Community.” Productions are carried on in a coffeehouse atmosphere.
