Text transcribed from caption: HEAR BISHOP DUN URGE CHRISTIAN UNITY #4814 CHICAGO -- A sizeable crowd fills Mandel Hall, University of Chicago auditorium, to hear the Rt. Rev. Angus Dun, Protestant Episcopal Bishop of Washington, D.C., inaugurate the William Henry Hoover Lectureship on Christian Unit. He delivered five lectures on four successive days, emphasized the need for church union among all Christian faiths. The lectureship was sponsored by the Disciples Divinity House and was made possible by a grant of $50,000 bequeathed by the late William Henry Hoover, Ohio vacuum cleaner manufacturer.
