Because of his age, a special dispensation from the Pope was necessary before the new brother could be invested. Their smiles indicate an eagerness to return to their charitable labors and to renew past acquaintances in the Orient. Zazzera, who is chef in a restaurant here, took special pride in the model, for his grandfather designed the original church. Complete with lights, pews, altars and carpeting for the center aisle, the church is a masterpiece of detail. A small victrola sounds the Ave Maria and bells from the chime tower. They were the personal collection of the late Ralph Grassler. Most of the icons of this collection were forged from brass.
