Text transcribed from caption: SEABEE CHAPEL #3007 PHILIPPINE ISLANDS -- This Pacific island chapel, erected by Seabees from scrap material, was the inspiration of the Rev. C.B. Meininger, pastor of the First Christian Church of Moline, Ill. As a chaplain with the Seabees, he drew up the plan for the structure, which served as a chapel for 2,500 servicemen.
