#s3519 LOS ANGELES -- Ten members of the Libbey family, touring evangelists,
are shown on the “back porch” of their rolling home. They travel from
state to state presenting programs of religious music in different churches.
The entire family is musical, including 82-year-old Grandfather, who plays
the drums. The bus was bought five years ago after being honorably retired by
the Los Angeles transportation system. It has been converted into living
quarters by installing Pullman-style berths in the lower deck that fold out
of the ceiling. When the berths come down, curtains automatically fall over
the windows. The upper deck is used to store musical instruments and for
cooking and eating when the weather is fine. Credit Must Read: RELIGIOUS NEWS
