Description:
Text transcribed from caption: PC-30732 DIALOGUE AND A GIFT PHILADELPHIA --
Roman Catholic and Methodist leaders of Philadelphia in an ecumenical
dialogue. Here Archbishop John J. Krol, left, presents to Methodist Bishop
Fred Pierce Corson a memento of the Second Vatican Council. The gift, a medal
presented to the Catholic prelate by Pope Paul VI, was made as the two
churchmen completed a half-hour discussion on a Philadelphia TV station. It
was their second televised dialogue within a year. Archbishop Krol is an
undersecretary of the Council, while Bishop Corson, president of the World
Methodist Council, attended the first and second sessions as a
delegate-observer. Credit Must Read: RELIGIOUS NEWS SERVICE PHOTO
