Katharine Talcott Hale letter book.
Description:
Collection of letters written by Presbyterian missionary Katharine Hale Cochran while serving in Iran from 1878 to 1895. These letters were edited and compiled by Cochran's sister Mary Hale, 1916. Includes biographical sketch written by Katharine Cochran's son Joseph, and letter to "my dear neices and nephers" by Mary Hale. Rebound in 1936, and photographs added to illustrate the text, 1956 and 1964.
