- Text transcribed from caption: JAPANESE WAR ORPHANS #1494 Posed in the garden of the Angel Guardian Home in Kumamoto, Japan, these tiny tots are Japanese war orphans being cared for by Roman Catholic nuns. With them is Sister Saint Paul, and Marine Pvt. Louis L.
