Description

José R. Colon Rodríguez is a Presbyterian minister and historian. The son of a Presbyterian minister, Colon Rodríguez grew up in Iglesia Presbiteriana la Marina (Mayagüez, P. R.), and was ordained there in 1967. He studied literature at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez and is the author of a series of historical works on the Presbyterian Church in Puerto Rico, "Nuestras Raíces en la Historia." Film documents firehouse and sugar cane harvest.
