- Text transcribed from caption: CHRISTIAN COLLEGE IN KOREA FLOURISHING #2033 SEOUL, Korea -- One of the outstanding educational institutions in the country, Chosen Christian College now has a student enrollment of 800 men. Standing just outside this capital city, it was used as a Japanese barracks during the war. Photo shows Underwood Hall, main college building, named after a pioneer Christian missionary to Korea who founded the school. His statue, which stood on the pedestal in front of the building, was taken off its base and melted down for scrap during the war.
