Damiano of Camden, N.J., is shown as he offered a prayer opening the Democratic National Convention at Atlantic City. Archbishop Damiano, whose diocese includes the convention city, prayed that God would grant wisdom to the convention in selecting leaders and in creating a platform which would "exalt social justice."
