Carroll R. Stegall (1891-1965) was a missionary for the Executive Committee of Foreign Missions of the Presbyterian Church in the U.S. He worked at the Luebo and Lubondai mission stations in the Congo from 1915 to 1950. This collection consists of negatives and photographs of native people, missionaries, and the radio equipment Stegall used at Luebo in the 1930s. View the collection guide to learn more.

Three generations of the Vass family served the Presbyterian Church in the United States and the Congo during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Vass III's wife (and daughter of medical missionary Eugene R. Kellersberger), Winifred Kellersberger (1917-2010), also served with her husband. This collection includes photographic prints, glass and film negatives, and lantern slides primarily documenting Vass II in the Congo, the American Presbyterian Congo Mission (APCM), the S.S. Samuel N. Lapsley I and II, the Congo's indigenous villages and peoples, and Belgian atrocities. View the collection guide to learn more.

Eugene R. Kellersberger (1888-1966) was a medical missionary to the American Presbyterian Congo Mission (APCM) and General Secretary of the American Mission to Lepers. This collection includes photographic materials related to Dr. Kellersberger's time as a medical missionary in the Belgian Congo and to his 1946 world and 1947-1948 Far East tours. His Africa photograph album contains over 2,000 items, and it primarily spans the years from the 1920's to 1940. View the collection guide to learn more.
