- Description
- Text transcribed from caption: HE GOT THE BIBLE #1754 -S OBERLIN, Ohio -- Some years ago Peter Craig was asked by his Sunday school teacher to bring a Bible to class. His surprising answer was that he would not “buy a Bible until my daddy writes one.” Today Peter Craig has a New Testament written by his father, for Dr. Clarence T. Craig, professor of New Testament languages and literature at the Graduate School of Theology here, was one of the group of scholars who worked on the translation of the Revised Standard Version of the New Testament. Photo above shows Dr. Craig (left) presenting his son with a copy of the new version. Credit Must Read: RELIGIOUS NEWS SERVICE PHOTO (JT-CL-MES-2C-6-W-B)
