- Religion on the move.
- Description
- Text transcribed from caption: #994 RELIGION ON THE MOVE Shifting populations throughout the United States and Canada during the war years have made churchmen transportation conscious, and as a result they have turned to many different conveyances to bring God’s work to their flocks. To serve members of the congregation who have moved to other districts, this trailer chapel of the Second Church of Christ, Brooklyn, N.Y. was built and equipped by the Rev. and Mrs. Elmer C. Kile and their parents. Mr. Kile is shown addressing members of the church outside the “mother church” building.
