- Text transcribed from caption: C-31279 READY FOR TAKE-OFF BOSTON -- Richard Cardinal Cushing, Archbishop of Boston, is all strapped up in a helicopter and ready for take-off, bound for Groton, Conn. In Groton, he celebrated a Mass at the U.S. submarine base theater. Later he visited the New London yards of the General Dynamics-Electric Boat Company to inspect the recently completed Polaris submarine, Ulysses S. Grant.
