- Text transcribed from caption: P-31563 NATIONAL STUDENT CHRISTIAN FEDERATION OFFICERS CHICAGO -- Miss Elmira Kendricks of Cincinnati, Ohio, (third from left, top photo) was elected the first woman president of the National Student Christian Federation at the organization's Sixth General Assembly at Chicago. A member of the Methodist Church and a student at Drew Theological Seminary, Madison, N.J., she succeeds Bruce Douglas (right), Yale Divinity School student from Aberdeen, S.D. Other new NSCF officers are Stanley Skinner of Syracuse, N.Y., a member of the United Church of Christ and a senior at Syracuse University, vice-president; and Miss Cheryl Wiley of Harrisburg, Ill., a member of the United Presbyterian Church in the U.S.A. who will attend Washington University, St. Louis, Mo., this fall, secretary.
