Using the life story and literary writings of Phillis Wheatley to illuminate these lessons of liberation, the speaker asks what difference it might make in seminaries, churches, and the dailiness of our Christian lives, if we took seriously the writings of Phillis Wheatley and others from Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
