- Text transcribed from caption: P-30234 ‘YOUTH FOR CHRIST’ TEAM IN NIGERIA LAGOS, Nigeria -- This “Youth for Christ” team held many successful meetings throughout Nigeria. The group spent a month in the country, following visits to Ethiopia, where they had an audience with Emperor Haile Selassie, and Sudan. It was to continue on to meetings in Liberia and Sierra Leone before returning to the U.S. shortly before Christmas. Left to right, the U.S. musicians and singers are Gilbert Moergerle, Pittsburgh; Jay Platte, Indianapolis; Steve Edwards, Syracuse; Ed Johnson, Detroit; and Jim Bolder, Muskegon.
