- Dressed in brown Carmelite robe and cloth Chinese shoes, both feet were bandaged. She was carried from her stateroom on back of Father Smith. She weighed less than 100 pounds. She tried to cover her face with handkerchiefs as photographers flashed away.

Ben Weir, left, got a warm welcome from his friend Aahmes Overton, pastor of Hayward Presbyterian Church, as he arrived yesterday at San Francisco International Airport.
