- Description
- Text transcribed from caption: P-31280 NEGRO BISHOP PREACHES AT METHODIST CONSECRATION PORTLAND, Ore. -- Bishops and elders “lay hands” on newly-elected Methodist Bishop R. Marvin Stuart of the Denver area during consecration ceremonies in Firth Methodist church, Portland, Ore. Right photo shows Negro Bishop Charles F.
