- The village call-drum, and four of the villagers. Their names, and drum-names, are as follows (left to right): (1) Kpekpem Nsim - W'awu ndok, be ye'e wo kee. You are overcome with greediness, just as they were about to hand it (food) to you. (2) Nsim Minsili - Fete, fete, zen! fete, fete, kulan. Tied up, tied up tight! tied up, tied up, loosened. (3) Ngombayo Nsim (brother of Kpekpem) - O nkele vom besom b' alotane binga, o za sep etom. Don't go where the lucky fellows are taking women along lest you get into trouble. (4) Nsim Bitom - O nkui nbwel a zan. You'll die of witchcraft at midnight.

- Description
- Presbyterian Historical Society Records Archivist David Staniunas interviews Robert E. Wilson, vice-moderator of the 217th Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) General Assembly in Birmingham, Alabama, 2006. Wilson was born on January 23, 1939 in Gastonia, N.C., and raised in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church. Barred from professional employment by segregation in North Carolina, Wilson found federal civil service work at the Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, N.J., in 1961. He and Patricia Isles were married on June 17, 1961. The couple joined Ironia Presbyterian Church (Ironia, N.J.) in 1963. Wilson retired from the federal civil service in 1995. In 2001, he served as president of the National Council of Presbyterian Men.

- Description
- Shelton Bishop Waters was an African American Presbyterian minister. Born in 1918 in Pittsburgh, he was educated at Johnson C. Smith University (Charlotte, N.C.) and Lincoln University. From 1947 to 1969 he was pastor of First African Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, serving as moderator of the presbytery in 1965 and moderator of the Synod of the Trinity in 1966. From 1975 to 1985 he was pastor of Northeastern Presbyterian Church (Washington, D.C.). He died in 2013.
