Jointly arranged by the NCC and the World Council of Churches, the institute included seminary study, conferences and three months of local parish work. From left to right are the Rev. Joseph Adeke of the Anglican Church in Uganda; the Rev. Geoffrey Ngare, Presbyterian pastor from Ghana; the Rev. David Gana, Presbyterian pastor from West Cameroon; the Rev.
