- Text transcribed from caption: (LA4) LOS ANGELES, DEC.24--IT’S MERRY CHRISTMAS FOR BARROW CHILDREN--Six of Mrs. Pauline Barrow’s seven children help Santa Claus in the person of a Los Angeles Times reporter decorate their Christmas tree after he arrived with several armloads of toys and turkey. Their dad, Pvt. M.G. Barrow, lost his life in the Philippines. The children, left to right: Leonora, 4; Floyd, 7; Glenn, 5; Jimmy and Johnny, 3, twins; Patricia, 2. Mrs. Barrow is at right.
