Ben Weir, left, got a warm welcome from his friend Aahmes Overton, pastor of Hayward Presbyterian Church, as he arrived yesterday at San Francisco International Airport. Weir, who was kidnapped by Beirut terrorists and held hostage for 16 months, told his Bay Area well-wishers that he felt "like Rip Van Winkle come home."
