- Oral history with Richard Dozier, contributions from Joe Rigsby, 23 February 2024, on the Harbison Development Corporation (Harbison, S.C.). Richard Franklin Dozier is an African American Presbyterian minister, born 30 May 1942 in Saluda, S.C. He completed a bachelor's degree at Johnson C. Smith University in 1964, and graduated from Johnson C. Smith Theological Seminary in 1967. He served Northminster Presbyterian Church (Columbia, S.C.) from its organization in 1967 until 2011. From 1968 to 1983 he and Jim Costen led the Harbison Development Corporation, a land-development corporation for the new community of Harbison, S.C.

- Description
- Interview (part one) conducted by Sonia Prescott with Edwin Ayres Bethea and Wendell Charles Love on July 3, 2023. Edwin was born in Birmingham, Alabama on May 15, 1931 to Monroe Ayres Bethea and Marzetta Pressley Bethea. Edwin spent his early childhood years with his grandparents and other paternal family members in Millers Ferry, Wilcox County, Alabama. Calvin B. Bethea (born 1863) and Annie McArthur Bethea (born 1868), Edwin’s paternal grandparents, were sharecroppers on the properties of Judge William Henderson in Millers Ferry. Edwin was educated in one of the six mission schools in Wilcox County supported by the Freedman’s Bureau and the United Presbyterian Church of North America. As his parents had been before him, Edwin was a student at the Millers Ferry Normal and Industrial School. In the interviews, Edwin provides a firsthand account of the Black Presbyterian experience in Wilcox County.

- Cecil Corbett was a Nez Perce Presbyterian minister and church worker. A member of First Indian Presbyterian Church (Kamiah, Idaho), he served as president of Cook College and Theological School in Tempe, Arizona, as national agency staff liaison to Native American churches, and in retirement as an itinerant pastor. He died in 2020 of COVID-19.
