- Text transcribed from caption: C-32036 LORD OF CREATION NEW YORK -- Two Pakistani children are caught in a rice field sharing a moment of sheer joy. The photo is one of more than 100 illustrating the words of Pope John XXIII’s famous encyclical, Pacem in Terris -- Peace on Earth. The excerpt for this picture reads: “God also created man in His own image and likeness, endowed him with the intelligence and freedom and made him lord of creation.” On display at New York’s Hallmark Gallery through April 2, the exhibit has been praised by Protestant, Catholic and Jewish religious leaders.
