- Easter Sunday near Red China border.
- Description
- Text transcribed from caption: C-30874 EASTER SUNDAY NEAR RED CHINA BORDER Only a few miles from Red China emplacements established at the border, an Indian soldier receives Holy Communion on Easter Sunday. A missionary priest offered a field Mass which saw Catholic soldiers queue up to receive the Host. The area is still subject to tension; it was over-run by Red China forces who invaded northeast India last year, and an uneasy truce exists.
