- Title
- Ch'ungju Mission Station.
- Description
- A typical country school. Every well-ordered country community had a building of this kind. Primarily a school, it was also a community meeting place. Early missionaries always visited these "Keul Pangs" to present the gospel. The teacher probably lived in the enclosed room. He might be a man of good rank and education who had become impoverished.
