- Tokyo Christian Fellowship.
- Description
- Text transcribed from caption: TOKYO CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP #3343 TOKYO -- One of the best-organized bodies of its kind in the Orient is the Christian Fellowship Group here. Composed of Japanese Christians, American and British servicemen, and missionaries, it was started last October. President of the Fellowship is Miss Kiku Ishihara, a graduate of Columbia University, New York, who now is head of a Christian elementary school here. The Fellowship holds mid-weekly meetings as well as Sunday services. Recently the group donated 5,000 yen to sponsor medical aid for Japanese war orphans. And it also provides funds for the support of Japanese ministers and the Japan Biblical Seminary. Here members of the Fellowship, on their way to visit a Japanese hospital, stop to talk with youngsters at the hospital gate.
