ASTRONAUT'S FAMILY LEAVES FOR CHURCH

HOUSTON, Texas--Mrs. Pat McDivitt, wife of Air Force Maj. James

A. McDivitt, commander of the Gemini 4 spacecraft, is accompanied

by her three children as she leaves home for a special 5:30 a.m.

Mass on the day of takeoff. The McDivitt children are from left,

Michael, 8, Ann Lynn, 6, and Patrick, 4. The Mass was celebrated

by Father George Beck in a chapel at his home outside Houston --

St. Paul's parish has no church as yet. Escorting the McDivitt family

was an NASA official.
