TOWN RAISES FLAG A DAY FOR U.S. HOSTAGES
HERMITAGE, Pa.--Employees of a Hermitage, Pa. cemetery raise another
flag recently, to the collection marking the days that the
U.S. hostages are held in Iran.
The flags are loaned by area families who are determined -- despite
often gloomy reports from Iran -- to keep them flying until the
captives are finally freed.
Meanwhile, dispatches from Teheran on Mar. 10, reported that the
Ayatollah Khomeini has ruled that militants holding the hostages at
the U.S. Embassy may permit the five-member U.N. investigative panel
to visit only those captives accused of crimes. He said that access
to the others would not be possible until the commission's report
was submitted, covering anti-government charges against the
former shah and the U.S.
