Description:
October 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic, this project was launched to tell the story of Richard’s resilience and of the family’s efforts to ease the psychic impact of his isolation during lockdown in a senior living residence. The conversations are described as “glimpses into what sustains us over a long life and an antidote to the tragedy of separation from our elders during this pandemic.”

The Network began in 2003 as an interrelated association of Presbyteries, Churches, individuals, and mission agencies that are partnered in missions between the Presbyterian Church of East Africa and the Presbyterian Church (USA). That framework continues today, but they also welcome other denominations and groups that share their purpose. The Network provides a forum to worship together, and also to exchange ideas, joys, challenges, concerns and vision about cross cultural missions. The work and witness of partnerships are encouraged and fortified through programs and fellowship at Network gatherings, which are scheduled annually.
