Text transcribed from caption: The Rev. Walter Soboleff, pastor of Memorial Presbyterian Church, Juneau, Alaska, Sheldon Jackson graduate, and Tlingit Indian whose grandfather was Russian. Mr. Soboleff broadcasts a regular program in Tlingit, both newscasting and giving religious messages. He is widely listened to by fishermen, others who have few opportunities to hear their native tongue. Perhaps as an heritage from his opera singer grandfather Mr. Soboleff got his musical talent. He is a gifted violinist.
