principals at the Fifth World Order Study Conference here were these four
government and church leaders. Shown left to right are: Methodist G. Bromley
Oxnam of Washington, D.C.; Secretary of State John Foster Dulles; Dr. Edwin
T. Dahlberg of St. Louis, Mo., president of the National Council of Churches;
and Ernest A. Gross of New York, chairman of the four-day meeting and former
U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. The conference was sponsored by the
National Council's Department of International Affairs of which Mr. Gross is
chairman. Its theme was "Christian Responsibility on a Changing Planet."
