Following a brief memorial service in Lafayette Park for those killed in Vietnam, about 150 demonstrators crossed Pennsylvania Avenue and tried to gain access to the White House to deliver a list of Vietnamese dead to the President. Denied admittance, the group staged a "lie-in" on the driveway.
