Text transcribed from caption: #551 PRESENTS GLASS CROSS AND CANDLE STAND TO CHURCH Schenectady, N.Y...An intricate "V-Day" cross and candle stand, made up of 1561 pieces of hand-cut inlays of glass in nine colors, has been presented to Holy Cross Church here by Frank Bobowicz. He started construction of the cross and stand on D-Day, June 6, 1944, and fitted the last particle of glass in place on the day the Japanese surrender was announced.
