Description:
"Leprosarium Staff. Here are the ones who try to keep the institution ticking
along smoothly. The problems are great, and many, but Philippians 4:19 is
just as true today as it was in the time of St. Paul: 'My God shall supply
all your needs according to His riches in glory, by Christ Jesus.' Praise be
to Him who cares for us. Seated: (left to right) Mr. Kim, pastor; Dr.
Moffett, Acting Supt.; Mr. Pai, Asst. Supt. Standing: Mr. Kwun, business
manager; errand boy; Mr. Pak, agriculturalist; Mr. Choon, office worker; Mr.
Chun, mechanic and truck driver; maintenance helper. These are the only
people directly connected to the institution who are not patients. Not a
single Korean doctor due to natural reluctance, if not fear, of associating
with cases of leprosy. Interns and residents from Taegu Presbyterian Hospital
do give valuable assistance for a few hours each week."
