One of the features of Inter American University's Fiftieth Anniversary
celebration was the gathering of the Harris clan. Above (L to R) are Jean
Harris Freemont, daughter of Clarence Harris, vice president of the school in
its early years; IAU President Ronald C. Bauer; Mrs. Bauer; Helen Harris
Artau, daughter of J. Will Harris, found of the school; Guillermo Artau; Rev.
Donald Harris; Margaret Stevenson Harris; Cleland Harris. The last three are
children of the founder. At the extreme right, Srta. Santoni is not yet a
member of the family, but will be soon when she marries the son of Helen
Harris Artau. Missing from the picture, but present at the weekend
celebration were Mrs. Mary Viera, widow of Clarence Harris; William A.
Harris, grandson of the founder; and Mrs. Clelend Harris.
