Two boys and a teacher with a rabbit, Jibrail Rural Fellowship Center
Jibrail Rurual Fellowship Center, Tripoli. Assistant to Mr. Alter developing the boys' program is Mr. Munir Khoury, who returned last fall from two years' special study in American on Board scholarship to equip him for this work. Here he explains the good qualities of two superior type rabbits. Since there are still no prepared quarters for the rabbits on school grounds, Munir keeps them in a pen at his home in the village. Love for rural life and a conviction of the need for raising the standard of his own area has made him turn down many more attractive jobs elsewhere to throw his own lot with the work of Mr. and Mrs. [Samuel Neale and Edith Maria] Alter.
