Text transcribed from caption: S-1414 9. Mrs. Tamaki Uemura, one of Tokyo’s best pastors. Hers is the Kashiwagi Church of Yodobashi ward. She is the daughter of Masahisa Uemura, the nestor of Japanese Presbyterianism. Trained at Wellesley and Edinburgh, she is head of the women’s section of the United Church of Christ in Japan.
