Text transcribed from caption: JAPANESE CHURCH EDUCATIONAL LEADER #1395 TOKYO -- Tsuraki Yano, president of Meiji Gakuin school here, was one of the staunch defenders of Christianity during the war. Through his efforts the Christian principles of his institutions were safeguarded against the demands of the militarists. He is chairman of the Christian Educators’ Association of Japan.
