Text transcribed from caption: PC-31068 RELIGIOUS GROUPS SUPPORT CIVIL RIGHTS PHILADELPHIA-Representatives of church groups demonstrate for racial justice at an “interreligious witness for civil rights” in Philadelphia’s Independence Hall Square. The meeting was attended by several hundred persons from about 25 cooperating religious groups. Aim of the demonstration was an early passage of the civil rights bill in Congress.
