Text transcribed from caption: EPO-31539 PRAYERS FOR TROUBLED CYPRUS ALEXANDRIA, Egypt -- Greek Orthodox Archbishop Makarios, President of Cyprus, leads prayers for the people of his troubled country at a service in the Greek Orthodox Cathedral at Alexandria, Egypt. Cathedral clergy attend him. In Egypt to request aid from President Nasser of the United Arab Republic in the conflict with Turkey, Archbishop Makarios was greeted enthusiastically by the local Cypriot and Greek communities.
