Text transcribed from caption: PC-46617 WEDDING ON HORSEBACK NEW YORK-- The newlyweds kiss and the minister gives his blessing (top photo). A typical wedding scene, except that all are on horseback. And three hours after their wedding, the bride and groom were back to work as was the minister -- announcing their performances in "The Wonderful World of Horses" at Madison Square Garden's Felt Forum. Bobby and Wendy Wilson perform in the show and the minister, Austin Miles, is the announcer as well as an ordained clergyman of the Assemblies of God. While a wedding under such circumstances -- on horseback and in an arena -- might seem like a flashy show-business gimmick, Mr. Miles emphasized that it was natural and meaningful for people who work with horses to be married on horseback -- a symbol of their life and work together. The marriage of Bobby and Wendy was the first that Austin Miles has performed on horseback, but the second involving a couple in the horse show. Last year, he joined Steve and Connie Page together in holy matrimony -- in a church in Erie, Pa. Appropriately enough, it was the Pages who attended to the wedding couple's horses before the ceremony. (bottom photo).
